EVENT CINEMAS
Reds Building & Carpentry were chosen by Amalgamated Holdings to participate in the Scoop Alley construction rollout at Greater Union cinemas across Sydney. In conjunction with the design team and Amalgamated Holdings, we worked to fine-tune the process, which lead to more streamlined works and condensed project timelines.
Projects involved the complete strip-out of the existing scoop alley and candy bar areas and refitting with commercial kitchens, cool rooms, front-of-house service areas, point of sales and soft furnishings. In addition, we built and equipped new coffee shops at particular sites.
The Event Cinemas were challenging projects and required extensive programming to maintain sales levels and public awareness whilst the new areas were under construction.
