POINT PRE SCHOOL, OYSTER BAY
The alterations and additions to this existing council preschool consisted of the enlargement of the classroom; addition of a veranda adjacent to the classroom; increased storage facilities; improved office facilities; the addition of a staff-interview room; disabled access toilet and shower facilities; and updating the existing facilities such as the kitchen and the children's bathroom.
We co-ordinated closely with consultants and engineers to redesign the roof which had no structural design at the time of tender.
The preschool remained functioning during construction, closing only temporarily during school holidays.
